Contact Pat Ruzzo

If you are facing criminal charges, a licensing board investigation, or both, the most important thing you can do right now is speak with an attorney. The earlier you have experienced legal counsel, the more options you have and the more mistakes you can avoid.

Contact my office today to schedule a confidential consultation. There is no charge for the initial consultation. We will review your situation, answer your questions, and discuss a strategy for protecting your freedom and your license.

Law Office of Pat Ruzzo

Address:  1221 Studewood St Ste 102 Houston Texas 77008

Phone:  713-523-1930

Office Hours:  Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Evening and weekend consultations available by appointment

When you call my office, you will speak with someone who understands the urgency of your situation. Criminal charges and licensing board investigations move quickly, and delays in getting legal counsel can limit your options.

During your consultation, I will:

  • Listen to the details of your situation without judgment
  • Explain how the criminal and licensing proceedings work and how they interact
  • Give you an honest assessment of where you stand
  • Outline a strategy for protecting both your freedom and your license
  • Answer your questions clearly and directly

I do not make promises I cannot keep. What I can tell you is that you will leave the consultation with a clear understanding of your situation and a plan for moving forward.

What to Bring or Have Ready

If you have already received any official documents, having them available during your consultation will help:

  • Any letter or notice from your licensing board
  • Arrest paperwork, citation, or bond conditions
  • Court dates or case numbers if you have them
  • Any communications from investigators, employers, or the board

If you do not have any of these yet and are calling immediately after an arrest or upon first learning of an investigation, that is fine — and actually ideal. The earlier you call, the better.

While my office is in Houston, I represent healthcare professionals throughout Texas. Licensing board proceedings for Texas nurses, pharmacists, and physician assistants are handled at the State Office of Administrative Hearings in Austin, and I regularly appear there. Criminal defense matters I handle in Harris County and throughout the surrounding region, and I have tried cases in over thirty Texas counties.

Wherever you are in Texas, if you are a healthcare professional facing criminal charges or licensing board discipline, contact my office.
